RESORT 2024 COLLECTION

The INLYLAND summer capsule collection harmoniously continued the spring collection, inspired by Claude Monet’s gardens in Giverny.

New heroes of Claude Monet’s picturesque ponds are added to the symbol of the previous collection – the water lily. We see delicate handmade decor in the form of fish on the skirt and jewellery in the form of these wonderful inhabitants of the reservoirs in Giverny.

As an organic continuation of the previous collections, the summer capsule embodies the brand’s vital principle: all things are easily combined, and new looks for the season can be created by supplementing the wardrobe with only a few items. At the same time, all things are made with the thought of their timelessness. It doesn’t matter if they are laconic basics or sophisticated handmade masterpieces – they will be loved and relevant in customers’ wardrobes for many years.

Of course, the collection also includes the brand’s bestsellers: retro-style swimwear, basic tops, shirts, and jackets.

The novelties of summer 2024 are a shirt with short sleeves, a voluminous white skirt, and the pearl of the collection – a skirt with traditionally hand-decorated fish in a technique reminiscent of origami.

The leitmotif of the spring collection is a print of water lilies by the artist Polina Moroz, this time embodied in a silk handbag/pouch decorated with a fringe of handmade beads.

The brand’s achievement is a dynamic continuation of a new direction – creating jewellery that organically complements images and fully embodies collections.

In the new drop, you will find earrings in the shape of a water lily’s heart, a fish pendant with a moving tail, and a decorative chain belt with fish figurines.

The campaign shoot also continues the theme of the previous collection. To convey the intended atmosphere but display it more deeply, subtly, and veiled, a rather complex and meticulous technique of pictures—Polaroid Lift—was used. First, the photo cards are immersed in hot water, then the film is delaminated and later soaked in water, dried, and scanned. There are a lot of nuances and imperceptible behind-the-scenes work to achieve this barely perceptible sense of depth.

For the brand designer, the shooting process has always been, is, and will be a surprisingly important moment. Many complex techniques are involved here, similar to sewing clothes—delicate handwork. Over time, everything comes together into a coherent picture, where the final result is not just clothes but its remarkable story, atmosphere, and emotion.

The brand team and the film crew wanted to convey the unity of this collection with the previous one, the smooth flow of the main ideas and meanings, the fusion of symbols, and the inseparable harmonious combination of clothes, art, nature, and the minor details of styling.

What is all this for? To plunge into the unique atmosphere of the summer, which will be unforgettable in terms of sensations and filled with its contents for each of us. It will be a continuation of the previous life and a separate small story that will smoothly flow into the future.
